Sweet Woodruff is a charming, low-growing perennial groundcover with whorls of lance-shaped green leaves and delicate, star-like white flowers in spring. It has a sweet, hay-like fragrance, especially when dried, and is often used as a natural groundcover in shady gardens or under trees. It spreads steadily to form a dense carpet.
