Boxelder Maple (Acer negundo)

Boxelder Maple is a fast-growing, adaptable deciduous tree native to North America. Unlike most maples, it has compound leaves with 3–7 leaflets, resembling those of ash trees. While not typically used as an ornamental tree due to its irregular form and brittle wood, it plays an important ecological role by providing food and habitat for wildlife. It’s often found in riparian zones, floodplains, and disturbed areas.
