Foxglove (Digitalis spp.)

Foxglove is a tall, stately plant admired for its spires of tubular, bell-shaped flowers that bloom in vertical clusters. Available in shades of pink, purple, white, cream, and yellow, the blooms are often speckled inside and highly attractive to pollinators—especially bees and hummingbirds. While many species are biennial (blooming in their second year), some varieties are short-lived perennials or reseed readily, ensuring ongoing presence in the garden. Foxgloves bring a romantic, old-world charm to cottage and woodland gardens.
