Nursery Yard

You won't find a better selection of high quality Trees, Shrubs and Perennials than what we have in our Nursery Yard. If we don't grow them ourselves at our local growing facility, we bring plants in from only the most reputable growers available.

Our Lawn & Garden Department is brimming with bird feeding displays, lawn ornaments, garden tools, equipment and accessories, and soils. Who Are We?

Holdridge's is the largest garden center and wholesale nursery in Southeastern Connecticut. Born in 1912 by Sam Holdridge as a mail order company for strawberry & bare-root fruit bearing plants, Holdridge Nursery remains owned and operated by the Holdridge family.

Almost 100 years later, you can still count on us to be here for all your home, garden, and landscape needs.

Our staff is knowledgeable, experienced and trained to "Help You Succeed". We have several accredited Connecticut Nurserymen on duty to help solve your problems or suggest landscape improvements.

Our 100 acre growing facility supplies over 70% of the nursery stock we sell.
